Don't Dither-Dather
Don't dither-dather
wouldn't you just rather
do something with your life
full of joy and have a giggle
do a dance a little jiggle
give a wink a smile a smirk
just laugh about that jerk,
don't let him ring your bell
or pull your tail to hell
let him win the race he's in
since no race ever did begin.
Be with the ones you love
making memories is what counts
not mountains made of money
big homes and flashy cars.
Look after bees and honey,
else you'll miss the flowers
butterflies with marvelous powers,
and trees with golden blossoms
when they're not there anymore
will be something to be sorry for
a reason to be sad,
so don't dither-dather
wouldn't you just rather
do something with your life today
and make a difference,
a chance to change and rearrange
have a purpose driven goal
something to be proud of
something loving for your soul.
