The Catch-Man's Cry by Toni Cairns

Shorter version and no doubt criticism will arrive knocking at my door with regards to the use of 'Man's'...

My use here is Man's and is representative of any human person,  trying to put these words together using Woman's instead of Man's just didn't work.

Also originally it was 'Catchman's' cry, I like to mix things up and try to make people think out of the box.

The main point to this poem is how shocking I find it that when COVID hit us, the world almost stood still for a time and spent so much money in quickly developing vaccinations, is this because it appeared to hit everyone?

But why when for many years 8 to 10 million people die each year from malnourishment and starvation, why is this amount of people dying each year not enough to change the way the world works?

Do we really live in a world driven by greed and Powerful people and their profit?
